Jericho Systems Corporation

Background

Corporate Vision - Jericho Systems Exists to Make a Positive Impact on the World through Software and Services.

Corporate Mission - More Decisions Faster; Better Decisioning Now.

Corporate Name - Jericho Systems is our moniker because it denotes that fact that the time is right to tear down the walls created by business rules that do not communicate with one another. For example, most enterprises implement access control on an application-by-application basis. This creates stovepipes and walls within an enterprise. In place of walls, the company enables the creation of EnterSpaces--1-to-1 personalized and secure vistas of interaction within your enterprise.

Corporate History - Jericho Systems is a privately funded, women-owned corporation based in Dallas, Texas.

The company was incorporated on August 15, 2002 and founded largely in response to 9/11. The founders foresaw the need to secure confidential information and enable information sharing in sophisticated and complex environments.

Jericho Systems created a product category they called "decisioning". Decisioning product and service offerings were then developed for specific scenarios including security, personalization/ advertising, and business process automation.

The company's flagship product is the EnterSpace Decisioning Services (EsDS). The EsDS' highest concentration of deployments have thus far been in the United States (U.S) Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Intelligence Community, and with other U. S. Federal Agencies. The company continues to aggressively pursue commercial deployments as Service Oriented Architectures (SOA's) mature and Cloud Computing Environments are deployed.

The EsDS, when used for security, functions as a security decisioning service leveraging identity management systems. Some analysts have call this space "Entitlement Management". Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) is the term most often used within the U.S. DoD to describe the function performed by the EsDS.
